UNMASKED IMPACT VISION
At Splicer Films, we go beyond the applause: even after the curtains close, we work to uplift audiences, empower future leaders, and represent real heroes. By pairing every episode with an impact campaign, we create tangible results and inspire the world's next generation of leaders with inspirational and educational stories of social change.
We believe the power of storytelling can spark social advocacy, and move viewers to create positive change in their own communities. By producing Unmasked: Real Heroes, Untold Stories, we are embarking on an impact-driven mission of creating an empowering framework for future leaders to achieve their utmost potential in an ever evolving world. Through these untold stories of real heroes, we aim to inspire audiences to create a better world through grassroots movements, and supporting the causes founded by the heroes in the docuseries: The Karat School Project, Ubuntu Nation, Institute of Advanced Leadership, Robin Hood Community Medical Clinic in Fort Dauphin, and Congo Orphans.
Our goal is to evoke empathy and galvanize changemakers to address social issues, working to build a more just and inclusive future. We aim to spotlight and uplift underrepresented heroes and unheard voices by shifting the narrative and challenging stereotypes. As part of our social impact strategy, our business model will distribute a percentage of net profits to the social causes led by the heroes we profile in the docuseries.
SOCIAL CAUSE PARTNERSHIPS
Growing up impoverished in the Ivory Coast, Evelyne Keomian was deprived of education and slipped into schools in a culture where only boys were educated. Determined to break the cycle of poverty through education, she founded the Karat School Project (KSP) in the Ivory Coast to empower the next generation of leaders.
After immigrating to the US, she notices families living in vehicles around Silicon Valley who face barriers she once endured. Refusing to be a bystander, Evelyne expands the KSP to educate and empower families to become financially independent.
Challenging the education system to help kids without a permanent address to register for school, Evelyne must now prioritize addressing poverty and barriers to education in her home country, and in her new community.
Through the episode spotlighting Evelyne Keomian, we aim to bring awareness to issues Karat School Project addresses and support their initiatives.
Supportive Pillar Organization aims to raise funds to support these children and provide them with the necessary tools and resources needed to continue their education. Many of these children are out of school due to a lack of school fees, and basic school supplies such as uniforms, bags, notebooks and pens, which can seriously impact their learning and overall academic performance and their future in education is blurred.
Our goal is to ensure that every child has access to the education they need, regardless of their economic background. We believe that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and providing children with a brighter future.
